COVID-19 Infection and Acute Myeloid Leukemia: A Likely Marriage? - Published Nov 3, 2024Abstract In the early era of COVID-19, characterization of long-term complications was unfeasible. But in early 2021, the authors came across a patient with a new diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) that was highly suspected as being secondary to a previous COVID-19 infection.
