Australian Respiratory Surveillance Reports – 2024
Collection description
We compile each ARSR from several data sources. These data sources are used to monitor the:
-distribution of acute respiratory illness activity in the community
-severity of infections
-populations which might be at-risk of severe infections
-impact of acute respiratory illness activity on the community and health system in Australia.
Where available, these surveillance reports may also include data on:
-genomic surveillance and virology
-vaccine effectiveness.
