Howdy! Talking to a couple friends about getting the new variant-focused vaccines, we ran into a variety of thoughts on /when/ to get the vaccine in regards to timings of prior shots. I've been getting a shot every six months in Quebec (Usually around June/Jan) due to those being the exclusion patterns. One of my friends said it would be better to get it once, around October/November, to have better protection through winter peaks + current variants, but that it offers less protection to get another before summer peaks due to new variants emerging.
Do y'all have any more specific recommendations or resources to send my way? Thank you in advance!

all the studies I can find are talking about the space between the two-dose injections. I'll try to do some more digging and see if I can find anything better than a twitter post to send your way.
