ăptămâna trecută, în perioada 29 iulie - 4 august, au fost înregistrate 5.370 de cazuri noi de persoane infectate cu SARS-CoV-2, în creştere cu 55,8% faţă de săptămâna precedentă, potrivit datelor transmise marţi de Institutul Naţional de Sănătate Publică (INSP). INSP precizează că 1.716 dintre cazurile noi sunt la pacienţi reinfectaţi, testaţi pozitiv la o perioadă mai mare de 90 de zile după prima infectare. În urmă cu o săptămână, medicii consultați de Libertatea avertizau că virusul este mult mai extins. Conform INSP, în perioada 29 iulie – 4 august, au fost raportate 13 decese la persoane cu COVID-19, dintre care unul survenit în urmă cu mai mult de o săptămână, toate persoanele prezentând comorbidităţi. Până în prezent, 68.995 de persoane diagnosticate cu infecţie cu SARS-CoV-2 au decedat în România. În ţara noastră au fost înregistrate, până în prezent, 3.545.145 de cazuri de infectare cu SARS-CoV-2. În ultima săptămână au fost efectuate 1.232 de teste RT-PCR şi 16.989 de teste rapide antigenice. Rata pozitivităţii a fost de 29,5%, în creştere cu 2,5%. Până la această dată, la nivel naţional, au fost prelucrate 14.022.302 de teste RT-PCR şi 14.911.637 de teste rapide antigenice.

Last week, between July 29 and August 4, 5,370 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered, an increase of 55.8% compared to the previous week, according to the data transmitted on Tuesday by the National Institute of Public Health (INSP).
The INSP specifies that 1,716 of the new cases are in reinfected patients, tested positive more than 90 days after the first infection. A week ago, doctors consulted by Libertatea warned that the virus is much more widespread .
According to INSP, between July 29 and August 4, 13 deaths were reported in people with COVID-19, one of which occurred more than a week ago, all people presenting comorbidities.
To date, 68,995 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died in Romania.
In our country, 3,545,145 cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2 have been registered so far.
In the last week, 1,232 RT-PCR tests and 16,989 rapid antigenic tests were performed. The positivity rate was 29.5%, increasing by 2.5%. Until this date, at the national level, 14,022,302 RT-PCR tests and 14,911,637 rapid antigenic tests have been processed.
